Edwin Salazar
I am interested in being part of LACNOG. Mainly to know the strengths of the operators ( ISPs, content, academic, etc. ), as well as opportunities for improvement of each, in order to achieve in the medium term through a business plan agreed by all.

Jorge Villa
Master in Telematics and Telecommunications Engineer, graduated from the Instituto Superior Politecnico Jose Antonio Echeverria (Havana, Cuba ).
Since 1993, active in Cuban telecommunications companies and in the past 17 years, he has consistently worked in academia, in the area of ​​Networking and Telecommunications of the Ministry of Higher Education, and Supervisor of the National University Telecommunications Network; being the head of design and technical operation of the communications infrastructure of the network.

Contribute to the growth and development of LACNOG, working from within the Program Committee; as space for the generation and analysis of content, trends and exchange ideas on topics of impact and interest in our community. Similarly, encouraging contacts and exchanges with similar forums elsewhere; and consolidate LACNOG meetings, as an area of ​​mandatory participation for the technical community of operators in the region .

Lacier Days
I have worked with operation, network design and improvement of processes for telecom operators, Internet traffic and small suppliers, seeking out the best practices and solutions that have grip and attractive cost benefit .

Currently acted in few projects and why I devote to academic and career that he always was a dream. Reading the work of LACNOG I think there is much to do with these goals of divide and multiply knowledge, not only as a teacher but in a larger project where we can help more operators to develop their network structures and thereby achieve a structure more solid for all our Latin American countries still have many in need of much support.

Pedro Rodriguez Torres Jr
Professor at the Universidade Federal do Paraná coordinator and point of presence of the Rede Nacional de Pesquisa (RNP) in its State. It also acts as technical coordinator of traffic exchange point ( IXP ) Curitiba and technical coordinator of the Curitiba metropolitan network. Work with IPv6 deployment and operation of autonomous systems in the Brazilian academic network since 2001.

I intend to part of the Program Committee of LACNOG to contribute to the development of this group of network operators in the region.
LACNOG participate, LAC- TF, NANOG, and other initiatives GTER network operators, with presentation of papers. Following various working groups in the IETF and have recently contributed to the creation of the BCOP-LAC ( Best Current Operational Practices) group.

Tomas Lynch
Thomas Lynch received his degree in electrical engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Buenos Aires in 1997 and his M.Sc. in Engineering Management from the Faculty of Engineering at Florida International University in 2005. since 2010 working in Ericsson as Solution Architect III planning, designing and delivering related to the convergence of fixed and mobile IP networking solutions.
He previously served in various positions at Global Crossing and Impsat Fiber related IP Backbone Networks architecture. His interests are design and network architecture, integration of IP networks and Internet development . He is a member of ISOC since 2000. Participate in meetings LACNOG since 2010.

I want to have more participation LACNOG companies doing Internet in Latin America and the Caribbean. More number of presentations and talks by operators and service providers and network providers IXPs, among others, are necessary for the understanding of IP networks can be widely disseminated and reach more operators who otherwise have no approach to peer companies. That is, LACNOG as a forum for new trends and best practices in the development and operation of networks .
